All of our policies are in place to ensure that both our clients and practitioners have an enjoyable, relaxing and positive experience. The policies also help to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of our business. With this, we trust you understand why our policies below are firmly implemented.
OUR MASSAGE POLICIES
Cancellation: 24 hours notice is required for massage cancellation without any penalty. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the client will be charged full rate for the booked appointment.
No Shows: No shows will be charged at full rate.
Rescheduling: 24 hours notice is required, and the rescheduling of massage appointment is subject to schedule availability. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice is not accepted; and the original massage appointment will be charged at full rate.
Lateness: If a client is late, the practitioner will give the most complete massage treatment possible in the time remaining. However, each treatment will be finished on time to accommodate the next client. If the client arrives too late for the practitioner to perform the scheduled massage, the session will be charged at full rate.
Parking: Any parking fees incurred by the practitioner for mobile massage services are at the expense of the client.
First Time Clients: First time clients are required to provide credit card details when booking a massage appointment.
Mobile Service: Servicing Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby. All other nearby suburbs near Vancouver can also be accommodated. A travel fee of $25 is charged. An additional surcharge of $1.50 per km, plus any bridge toll fees, will be required if travelling over 20 km for a return trip. And any parking fees incurred by the practitioner shall also be paid for by the client.
OUR WORKSHOP PAYMENT POLICIES
- A deposit of CAD $200 is required to register for any 3 Day Workshop
- A deposit of CAD $100 is required to register for any 1 or 2 Day Workshop
- The balance payment is due no less than 30 days before the start of a workshop
- To qualify for the Early Bird Discount, payment must be made in full before the Early Bird Registration Deadline Date, if offered.
OUR WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICIES
Written cancellation required: All workshop cancellation requests must be made in writing and emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellation 21+ days before start of workshop: A refund of 90% of the total tuition minus a $25 Processing Fee for each workshop will be issued.
Cancellation 8 – 21 days before start of workshop: A refund of 50% of the total tuition minus a $25 Processing Fee for each workshop will be issued.
Cancellation less than 7 days before start of workshop: No refund will be issued.
Cancellation once the workshop has begun: No refund will be issued, but course may be transferred to another student. Bodhi Thai Massage will not be held responsible to make up any missed hour(s) incurred by the departing or replacement student.
Bodhi Thai Massage reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any workshop due to insufficient registration numbers or for whatever reason at any time without notice. In this event, Bodhi Thai Massage will not be held responsible for expenses incurred by students.
Should the workshop be rescheduled or cancelled due to insufficient registration numbers or for whatever reason, the student may choose one of the following:
- pay the fee differential and upgrade to a private workshop if available
- join the next scheduled workshop
- or receive a full refund for the fees paid for the workshop.
