Therapeutic Workshop Brings Authentic Thai Massages to Canada to Boost Health, Relaxation and Holistic Therapy

23 Aug, 2018

Health and fitness practitioners as well as those interested in wellness and self-care in both Montreal and Vancouver will soon be able to add a new skill set to their repertoire with the launch of an authentic Thai massage workshop designed to bring traditional Asian practices to Canada. The in-depth classes from Bodhi Massage are open to anyone interested in learning the holistic therapy’s ancient techniques.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, August 17, 2018 –(PR.com)– Run by an instructor that’s accredited by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education for the Thailand Government, attendees in both cities will be treated to practical workshops to get to grips with over 80 original Thai massage techniques. The immersive classes are ideal for budding entrepreneurs that want to set up their own wellness business, existing practitioners that want to add a unique service to their current offering, and those that simply want to learn the art of massage for themselves.

Thai massages have ancient roots which combine numerous techniques to deliver truly holistic therapy. The healing practices can provide long-lasting benefits to relieve pain and tension, increase mobility and flexibility, and improve mental wellbeing. The exciting, fun, and dynamic workshops being offered in Montreal and Vancouver follow the same curriculum as those offered in Thailand, providing an inexpensive way to gain a genuine introduction into the practice of Thai massage.

Vivian Pan, Owner and Thai Massage Therapist and Instructor at Bodhi Thai Massage, said, “Thai massage is excellent for health and wellbeing. The hundreds of techniques that are used to deliver a traditional massage can be adapted to suit each client, whether they prefer a soft or intense experience. From trained yoga instructors to established massage therapists, attending our interesting workshop adds another option to their toolbox.”

All Bodhi Thai Massage workshops are run by professionals with many years of experience in the field, with Pan training to be both a Thai massage practitioner and teacher in Thailand in 2012 after a career change. With the vision to make Thai massages accessible without having to travel to Thailand, Pan’s workshop is approved by the BCRPA.

Bodhi Thai Massage will be offering two unique courses this fall. Thai Massage Level 1A is perfect for beginners and those who want to learn the basics. It will demonstrate over 80 core techniques and ensure guests have everything they need to deliver a healing 90-120 minute massage. Those keen to progress can then graduate to the more in-depth Thai Massage Level 1B class, which will provide further, advanced techniques.

Bodhi Thai Massage will offer the Level 1A class September 21- 23 2018 and Level 1B class September 28 – 30 2018 in Vancouver. The expert team will then move on to Montreal, offering the Level 1A class October 19 – 21 2018 and the Level 1B class November 16 – 18 2018.
